Rules for Participation

In response to some of the wild and outright false comments made on some of the sites across the blogosphere the Iowa Constitutional Conservative Coalition has decided to impose upon themselves and their followers a set of rules in order to maintain a civil and meaningful discourse. Those rules are as follows:

1. All contributors to the Iowa Constitutional Conservative Coalition will without exception post all articles and comments under their real name. It is our belief that if a comment or thought is worth publishing, it is worth publishing with full credit to the author. Any article or comment made in defiance of this rule will be immediately deleted and the appropriate disciplinary action taken.

2. All non-contributing commenters on this site will be required to post comments under their real name. Once again we believe that any thought that is worth publishing is worth publishing with full credit. If someone does not feel their comment does not deserve to be published under their real name, then that comment is not worth publishing. Any comment submitted without a real name will be deleted immediately.

3. We believe that an informed and civil discourse in regards to Iowa politics will only further the cause of liberty and freedom. In order to foster an environment that promotes civil discourse we have enacted strict rules on civil discourse. Any commenter that feels they must devolve into profanity and personal attacks will be dealt with swiftly and harshly. The following is the penalties for violating this rule.

1. 1st Offense – Written warning in the thread the infraction occured within.

2. 2nd Offense – One month ban from commenting upon this site. Announcement will take place within the thread the infraction occurred within.

3. 3rd Offense – Final offense. Permanent ban from commenting upon this site. May be reinstated upon appeal to administrators of this site after a six month absence.
